What Is Myotherapy?

Myotherapy is a form of physical therapy used to assess and treat soft tissue injuries, dysfunction, and myofascial pain affecting movement and mobility. Steven uses a range of techniques to help reduce the pain, restore function and prevent further injury in the future. Once the injury or source of the pain has been assesed, treatment options are then customised to your specific needs and can vary from basic massage to more complex joint and soft tissue excercise programs.

Myotherapists are trained to treat a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions, such as:

Sporting and occupational injuries:

  • ITB friction syndrome
  • sprains and strains
  • patella femoral syndrome
  • plantar fasciitis
  • shoulder and back injuries
  • repetitive overuse injuries
